The institution was officially registered on 15 Magh 2070 B.S. with the Office of the Company Registrar and subsequently received its operating license from Nepal Rastra Bank on 7 Baishakh 2072 B.S.. It formally commenced its microfinance operations on 1 Jestha 2072 B.S., following the successful transfer of the microfinance program from DEPROSC Nepal, marking the beginning of its journey as an independent, licensed microfinance institution.

The Central Office is located at Ward No. 6, Dhunibesi Municipality, Dharke, Dhading, Nepal, from where the institution oversees its nationwide operations and strategic initiatives. Guided by its commitment to financial inclusion and sustainable development, the institution has established a robust network of 88 branch offices and 8 area offices, enabling it to deliver accessible, reliable, and customer-focused financial services across diverse geographic regions.

With an operational presence spanning 56 districts through branches strategically located in 49 districts of Nepal, the institution is dedicated to extending quality microfinance services to rural, underserved, and economically disadvantaged communities. Through its expanding branch network and customer-centric approach, the institution continues to promote financial inclusion, support entrepreneurship and self-employment, strengthen local economies, and contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of the nation.
